It's not really a website suggestion, but navigating CCC on a phone is pretty clunky at the moment. A streamlined mobile app with access to auditions, projects, and profiles would be nice.

More details about the project creator

As a voice actor, I often look through my auditions to see if I'm getting feedback and whether my audition has been heard by a casting director. However, very few CDs reject all the unsuccessful applications or provide a time-frame for casting. In lieu of a whole project timeline - which may not be available this early into a project - I propose having an "audition deadline" for talents to submit their auditions/demos, alongside a "casting deadline" for CDs to allocate their roles. Either immediately after this deadline has passed or if a CD fails to engage after a pre-defined amount of time, auditions are automatically rejected.

I have not met a single other actor who thinks being able to hear everybody else’s auditions is a good thing. I’ve heard of people imitating other people’s interpretations, mean spirited comments being left by other random actors, unwanted criticism, and, generally, a pretty toxic mindset of comparison to other people auditioning for the same project. Some people also feel like how many “likes” their audition has is an indicator of who’s going to get the part and if they should even bother. The social-media-fication of the usually private audition process is, in my opinion, bad for the art.

Voice Acting Club does not allow postings that cast before the deadline to ensure fairness for all voice actors who audition. I would like to see deadlines be considered unchangeable and immovable, so that CDs will not be able to cast until after it's passed. Similarly, voice actors should not be allowed to submit after the deadline has passed.

On mobile especially it's so buggy and I can't even send a chat message without it clogging my screen. EVERY TIME I log in there's "Someone just viewed your profile" like FIVE TIMES in a row. Why is there no way to get rid of it??I highly doubt it's even accurate considering "views" are probably from people who are simply reviewing auditions. I'm pretty sure Buford himself has bragged about it as a sales tactic and honestly it feels really scummy.I've seen and heard people complaining about it but I don't think Buford has gotten the message, so I really hopes this reaches him. Just - I don't know, move the pop-up? Don't make it last so long? Make it so that it doesn't last forever on the screen? Enable "don't show these types of notifications anymore"? Please?

PLEASE get rid of "Someone just viewed your profile".

This could be a replacement or addition to the "client" section that I don't see many people using. Maybe place the Actor "Pending Roles" and "Completed Roles" section on our profiles with the project name and director name next to each. Just don't show the "collaborate" button lol. I've never needed to use it thanks to Discord.

[From an actor's perspective] Instead of an actor getting instantly cast for a project, it would be helpful to receive a Casting Offer including important project information* from the creator that the actor could then accept or deny if they agree to the terms of the project. Examples of information in the Casting Offer might include: <ul><li>(more in-depth) character breakdown and character artwork </li><li>expected working date range (start and end dates) / timeframe for project completion </li><li>final audio format requirements and audio delivery preferences </li><li>project communication preferences (ie. Discord, email, CCC, etc)</li><li>how the audio will be used / where to project will be shared </li><li>project rating (eg. There's so many people who have figured out ways to cheat the system by posting one role for $1 then not casting it or posting a paid role and closing it so that no one can audition but it still comes up under the paid. Projects when you search. It's frustrating sometimes when you're searching for paid projects and 7/10 of them some days are unpaid that theyve cheated the system to have show up like that and get more views.
