Proper text editor for audition lines

The project editor seemingly got a new update. I like the changes overall, but the one change I can't understand the reason for is the change to the audition line text boxes.
Pressing enter no longer puts the following text into a new line, meaning all text written will be one contiguous line.
This does not work well with the way of writing audition lines that is recommended by the site (or was recommended, the advice bubbles are gone too for some reason).
Example:
[Context: This is happening]
(Emotion you should show) "The line you have to say"
is now
[Context: This is happening] (Emotion you should show) "The line you have to say"
The latter takes up less space, sure, but it's far worse for reading comprehension for longer lines, and it just looks disorganized in general.
