Perhaps have it so only the project creator can listen to vo submission until after they’ve cast the project? And make it easier to find paid original projects

Either make the ability to see other people’s auditions or comment permissions set by the person making the call or remove public audition audio entirely. I have not met a single other actor who thinks being able to hear everybody else’s auditions is a good thing.
I’ve heard of people imitating other people’s interpretations, mean spirited comments being left by other random actors, unwanted criticism, and, generally, a pretty toxic mindset of comparison to other people auditioning for the same project.
Some people also feel like how many “likes” their audition has is an indicator of who’s going to get the part and if they should even bother. The social-media-fication of the usually private audition process is, in my opinion, bad for the art.
