Once audio is uploaded, it gets downgraded

I haven't noticed this for a long time, but recently it seems like the audio downgrade of the uploaded auditions, vs the original files, is very very severe. Maybe with enough resources the player could be reworked, in both audio quality and displaying sound-waves even more accurately.
