Fix search for projects

ever since the site UI for project search was updated it has just ben a broken pain to use.

1. Old saved searches no longer even work, forcing us to enter every detail of our intended searches by hand every time the page is loaded

2. closed roles show up in search listings

3. searching multiple age/gender types at a time filters to things that have both not either

   the result is finding projects has ben pain for the previous months and im pretty surprised that is just ben sitting like that all this time, its as if you think its done and dosnt need work.
