Hardware list: Can't add hardware that contains "+" in its name (error)

I recently wanted to add the Solid State Logic SSL2+, which is my audio interface, to my list of hardware. Unfortunately, it errors out with an unspecified error. Instead, I currently have to put down my hardware as the "Solid State Logic SSL2 Plus", which looks silly.
